The mosque serves as a place where Muslims can come together for prayer, as well as a center for information, education, and dispute settlement. Islamic architecture has always been a focal point for every person in this world who loves exploring creativeness. It encompasses a wide range of both secular and religious styles from foundation of Islam to the era we are living in. Majority of mosques have minarets and domes to enhance their beauty. This gallery highlights 70 of the most beautiful mosques in the world. Some of them are ancient, some are modern but they all exhibit the creativeness of Islamic Architecture.

May 27thWhy Al-Aqsa Mosque is mentioned as "Jerusalem, Israel" This Magazine is suppose to be a Muslim Magazine, and we don't consider Jerusalem to be the part of Israeli Occupation!!

May 14thGreat slideshow! Just a couple things - I wish we could control the speed of the slideshow - it goes too fast! Also, I'm a bit disappointed you didn't include any of the mosques in Sarajevo. They may not be as big as the other mosques here, but they are more beautiful than many of them, such as the Lyon mosque, which I didn't think was attractive at all :-(
